Love.
Roadtrip?

So I really love TV. I love TV shows. And I secretly LOVE reality TV shows. I guess it’s not a secret anymore, but come on, you love them to. MTV has a lot of really horrible but secretly really awesome reality shows, which reminds me, I haven’t seen this weeks Real world. Dang it. Anyway, not my point. MTV has just started airing this new delicious reality show called The Buried Life. The trailer they played every 5 minutes pulled me in, and like thousands of other people I tuned into the premiere, and boy am I glad I did. These four guys decided four years ago that they wanted to do something with meaning in their lives so they got together their “bucket list” and set out to get it accomplished. And not only do they do things everyone dreams of doing in their lifetime, they help complete strangers do some really cool things. And this “bucket list” concept suddenly has become more than just a fantasy. After the episode I looked up their website, followed them on twitter and facebook and basically started stalking them, except not in a creepy way. I looked into what finally made them put their ideas into action and how this could possibly work. And decided that I am most definitely going to do it. I text my friend Ali, she’s in. I started putting my “list” on paper, err TextEdit document, which is a lot harder than I thought it would be. I made it to 24 things without pause, and then got stuck. There have been so many times when I’ve thought “I really want to do that someday” and yet when trying to think of those moments, nothing. But getting a list together won’t be the hardest part. Taking an entire summer off to travel is going to cost a little money. So Ali and I have decided to take a year to save money. This will be rough since I’ve recently decided to move my life an hour away and become a grownup with actual bills. But I’m going to make myself save. Honestly, there has never been anything I want to do more than this. I am so excited thinking about it. And we are going to steal the idea to help someone for every one thing we complete on our list. I am really glad MTV decided to back this show, and that these four guys decided to do this. And that they decided to come into my living room every monday night and ask “What do you want to do before you die?”

So… What do YOU want to do before you die?

I will post the list soon. Any suggestions?
