Love.

So a lot has happened in the two weeks since I last posted! So as you know I moved to New Albany and started the hunt for an apartment, the hunting was easy. There are definitely a lot of apartments in the area, it was finding one that: a. didn’t look like the next location for COPS and b. allowed me to have my dog. Well New Albany didn’t offer these things so I started to look in Louisville, which is better for me since I wouldn’t have to change things like car insurance and license plate, etc. And it is still very close to New Albany. Well I looked at a couple and found a couple potentials, and then it turned out one of my brother’s friends was moving out of a nice apartment downtown, so we went to look at it. And I really liked it. So, this week I sign the lease! Crazy, right?! I’m super pumped, so thanks for the prayers friends! I’ll post pics when I get in there.

In other news, my brother and sister-in-law went to Ireland (yes, they took Parker with them) for 12 days. They return tomorrow, I could not be more excited! I did get to go to Lexington for a long Easter weekend. It was eventful. I went to Keeneland. Twice. I got to visit with my buddies Riley and Sophie, I ate out a lot, I wore a lot of dresses, I saw some favorite friends, ate some more food, and went to Church. E-VENT-FUL. I’m exhausted just typing it. Probably because I’m still exhausted from living it. The weather has been absolutely amazing, and it’s supposed to continue, which made for an even better weekend. I managed to get a sunburn in 15 minutes, but it wasn’t too bad. So all in all good weekend, glad to be back in New Albany though! And so ready to get in my apartment and DECORATE! I should go ahead and thank Target in advance. And IKEA.

As I was leaving Lexington today I was sitting in my car in front of the house getting everything in my car situated and then I looked up as I was pulling out and saw my little pugs face peering out of the bottom of the front window. Just staring as I left him. I almost cried then and might just thinking about it. I’m going to leave you with that sad visual.
