So today I was thinking about how a lot of music can instantly bring back memories. When I listen to it, I feel like I am IN that memory, all the surroundings and smells and people come right back and are right there with me. Garth Brooks reminds me of monkey bars, swing sets, and house boats. Mae reminds me of summer, bumming rides from friends, Ale 8, and stars. The Format reminds me of road trips and Florida apartments, oh and sunburns. The Fray (the How to Save a Life album) reminds me of suvs, train tracks, and my best. Britney Spears, NSYNC, and Backstreet Boys remind me of hair brush microphones, using my bed as a stage, and mixtapes. Justin Timberlake’s “Sexy Back” reminds me of houseboats and lifeys. Good memories : )
